Tottenham Hotspur has been based in Tottenham for almost 130 years. Today their ground is the borough’s top visitor attraction, bringing in one million people a year.

Now it’s time to update their home ground, with a new £430m stadium with an increased capacity to 56,250 fans. The stunning design of the venue will put spectators closer to the action than any other similar sized UK stadium.

The building is the focal point of the 20-acre Northumberland Development Project, which will create new homes, businesses and office space.

It’s also the site of a new University Technical College specialising in sports science and health. Also a 78,000 square foot Sainsbury’s store, which has already created hundreds of new jobs for local people.

“Tottenham has amazing potential, and with nearly £1 billion of investment already agreed, I look forward to working with the group to help transform the area.”
